Join us for our 2nd Annual '519' Pledge Drive, Rockin' for Heritage Preservation to save The Merritt Family Artist Cottage & Museum.
We will also host a reception for African American Sculptor, Jane Turner, who will present “Historical Impacts Through Paintings and Sculptures”.
The day's activities include porch stories, a salute to Charles "Mad Hatter" Merritt, a pioneer in black radio.
Entertainment includes New Breed, First World African Drummers & Dancers, Scoffield Cheerleaders, Young Performers of Tajiri Arts. Heritage music, dances, and games of the 19th & 20th Centuries
