Sanford Seminole Art Association47th Annual Member Show Sunday, February 25th marks the 47th Annual Member Show of the Sanford Seminole Art Association. The public is invited free of charge to the show and reception from 1:00 to 4:00 pm. Sanford’s Civic Center will be filled with art by members, Seminole County students and their teachers. Artist, Bill Orr is this year’s judge. Ribbons and cash prizes are awarded to members, middle school students and teachers. The “People’s Choice Award” is voted on by all who attend the show. Sunniland Corporation of Sanford is the major sponsor of the Annual Member Show. Their generous donation is used for member and student prizes and the show program. Sunniland also sponsors the “Peacha L. Wiggins Award in honor of Mrs Wiggins, a Moore family member and artist. The winning painting depicts a “Typically Florida” scene and is displayed at the Sunniland Corporation headquarters for one year.
