JAZZED! IN SANFORD
After the outstanding success of the April concert, “Jazzed in Sanford” moves to a Latin theme with the Alberto Bravo Band and a special presentation by the Seminole High School Jazz Orchestra. New York-born Music Director Adalberto Bravo, Jr. began his career in music early while studying at the Casa de la Juventud in Venezuela. Prior to earning his degree in education with a minor in music from UCF, Bravo entertained throughout the southeast including a four-year stint in Miami. In Central Florida, he has organized some of the top duos; trios, quintets and one of the area’s premiere Latin music orchestras. With Adalberto's outstanding reputation and the manner in which his groups captivates the public, it's no surprise that he is constantly being asked to accompany, and/or alternate with many well-known artist such as: Daniel Santos, Adalberto Santiago, Hector Tricoche, Santito Colon, Luisito Carrion, Tito Puente, Tito Nieves, El Gran Combo, Son By Four, Oscar D'Leon, Charlie Zaa, Frankie Negron, Gisselle, Melina Leon and many more. The concert will take place, rain or shine, in Magnolia Square on First Street in downtown Sanford from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm on Saturday, May 5.The events are sponsored by Rose’s Paper Southeast and Maria Shreve of Olde Town Brokers.
