Sanford Community Redevelopment Association
:: The City of Sanford ::

The City Of Sanford, Community Redevelopment Association, Our special thanks for their Leadership Sponsorship that has made the Alive After Five event one of the largest monthly recurring events in Florida.

Not many cities can offer the diversity that Sanford has to offer. It is a sprawling city with retail mega centers and upscale new home developments, that is also home to a historic downtown and a spectacular lakefront. It is a city rich in history and truly has something to offer everyone. Picturesque First Street which has recently added brick streets and traditional light posts, is the perfect setting for its art galleries, antique shops, dining and one of a kind shops. Sanford is now the largest city in Seminole County with nearly 50,000 residents, and the growth continues. The Sanford officials have worked to ensure that the growth continues in the right direction with compatibility with its historic style and waterfront location. Sanford is fast becoming a destination for arts, culture, history and recreation. Sanford City Commission Linda Kuhn, Mayor Jack T. Bridges Randy Jones Velma H. Williams Art Woodruff Sanford City Manager Robert “Sherman” Yehl
