Alive After 5, Thursday FEB 11- Party Gras We invite you to join us in beautiful downtown Sanford, Florida for the biggest monthly street party in Central Florida. We start the party at five and it lasts until eight, always on the second Thursday of the month. Thousands come out to the event to enjoy live music, and savor the samples of food and beverage that are included in the $7.00 admission charge.

Celebrating the Arts: Fourth Fridays! |

The Historic Sanford Welcome Center is pleased to announce its second season of “Fourth Fridays, Celebrating the Arts” The event is from 6-8:30 PM at 230 East First Street in historic downtown Sanford. Admission is Free. Thank you to all who came to the opening night reception of Fourth Fridays on September 25th. The event was a huge success and we appreciate your support. We could not have done it without the sponsorship of the Sanford Wine Company, Central Florida Air Maintenance, The Sanford Herald, Jernigan Properties, Colonial Room Restaurant, Rivership Romance and Rapid Image. We hope you will patronize these sponsors and come back on February 26 for “The Beauty of Transparancy”. There will be no Fourth Fridays in November and December due to the holidays.

Come rain or shine each month the city opens it doors to thousands of participants who come to savor the tastes and culture of Sanford. Every month on the second Thursday Sanford hosts a street party like no other with live music, food and drinks, where the downtown streets are filled with artists and their works. Mark your calendar to come and celebrate all that is fun and exciting in downtown Sanford. Bring your party hat and we'll see you there!!
